Adventure

Tajikistan’s natural beauty provides an inspiring backdrop for outdoor adventure, one of the main draws of this remote nation.

The Pamirs, often described as ‘the roof of the world’, are a magnet for hikers and mountain climbers, as are the stunning Fann Mountains. At the other end of the scale, the hot springs dotted across Tajikistan provide an ideal opportunity for rest and relaxation.

Pamir Mountain Explorer

The highlights of Pamir Mountain Explorer are Yashilkul, Zaroshkul, and Chapdara Lakes with amazing untouched sceneries of the mountains. The route takes you along the border between the Eastern and Western Pamirs, through high mountains at altitudes between 3600 and 4600 m. The horse riding adventure is combined with jeep tour either from Dushanbe to Khorog, via Wakhan (or Shokhdara) valley to Murghab and Bulunkul, or from Osh to Kisil-Art-Murghab-Bulunkul. Short trekking routes are always possible.

Trek the unusual

The town of Murghab, located at the eastern end of the Pamir Highway, is a good base for hikers. Our company offers full hiking packages, including transport, home stays, and guided hiking. Alternatively, day trips and multi-day hikes along the Murghab River and in the surrounding mountains and valleys can be organized.

Trek Pamir Mountains

The rugged and untouched beauty of Tajikistan can be best appreciated when hiking. The Pamir Mountains, particularly Somoni, Lenin and Korzhenevskaya (three of the highest mountains in the Pamir range), are popular with hikers and mountaineers.

Trek Fann Mountains

The many mountains of Tajikistan are ideal for mountaineering. The Pamir Mountains are popular with climbers, as are the beautiful Fan Mountains, which offer a good variety of ice climbs at different levels of difficulty.

The Pamir Mountains

The Pamir Mountains – The Roof of the World

Pamir mountains are one of the highest and beautiful ranges in the world. In terms of location, Pamir occupies Tajikistan, China and little parts of Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan on the square of 92,000 sq km and lies between Hindu Kush, Tien Shan, and Himalayas.

Known in Persian as the ‘Bam-i-Dunya’ or “Roof of the World”, these mountains form one of the most unexplored regions on earth. High, cold and remote, they are now opening up for climbers and trekkers from all over the world.
The highest peaks include Kongur peak of 7719 m (China), Muztagh Ata peak of 7546 m (China), Communism peak of 7495 m is also the highest peak of Tajikistan.
