Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region
First of all, keep in mind that there are not many “undiscovered” places left in the world. Focus on the places that are undiscovered to you and you won’t go wrong. Tajikistan is a newly opened country for tourism and there are many undiscovered places which have never been seen by any other tourists, so try to be first. The journey starts with visits from historical places like Panjshanbe Bazaar, Khujand, Kuk Gumbaz Madrassah in Istaravshan, Rudaki Park in Dushanbe and archaeological sites of Old Panjakent to a huge number of resorts and sanatoriums like “Bahoriston”, “Garm-chashma”, “Zumrad”, “Shambari Saturn” and thousand more unexposed places which have close relations with the real history.
